Why do my downloads become pdf files?

 · I'm not sure what caused this. The only thing I can think of is that my girlfriend was on my computer renaming a PDF when I noticed a popup that asked something about file extension or destination. I tried to tell her not to hit the "yes" button, but I was too late. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the problem. Then select the word app you have on your computer, say, “Word ″ then select “set this program as default”. bltadwin.ru files gets changed to HTML format File editing When I save an bltadwin.ru file, the file is converted to html, and I can no longer edit or change the data. All of my PDF files have the Chrome symbol as apposed to the PDF doc symbol. This happened about 2 weeks ago, and the only way to open these documents is to open Chrome. Opening programs automatically brings up the alpha list of programs on my system, with no option to change: only uninstall.
